I am teetering on the brink of buying the new Corinne Bailey Rae album. I like it but BB thinks it's only ok. Ah well - who cares. I shall buy it anyway from iTunes with BB's credit card. Hee, hee.

Pancake day today and we shall celebrate with salmon and dill in a bechamel sauce for the savoury version and Nutella with strawberries for the sweet. It makes me smile just thinking about it.

Nothing exciting to report from work. BB has his second hospital appointment today so hopefully there will be some news. I haven't heard anything yet which probably means the prognosis is good.

Have converted another person to Ho Yan Ho cure-all tea. It's a miracle!

At last

I had my first auditions since getting back from Germany - finally.

The first was a wash-out. It was an audition for Wrigleys but when I got there it turned out I wouldn't be around for the shoot dates. Sheesh... what a waste of time.

Second one was for Love Soup, a new BBC comedy with Tamsin Greig in. Would be swell to get the job - especially to see Tammy again, as haven't seen her since university.

Another one tomorrow - please god, let me get at least one of these jobs.

It was altogether rather stressful as I kept having to leave work in a hurry and then dash back again. Far too much walking involved, and catching tubes, and buses and running around.

Am quite excited though as I have just purchased Tom McRae's new album, All Maps Welcome and the Astor Piazolla DVD about his life. They only get released in 10 days though, so I'll have to be patient and think about my holiday instead...

Moon Palace

Well spent most of yesterday editing script for Moon Palace. We've been doing it 4 years and still using the script from first year even though about 45 mins has been cut from it.

Am viewing the prospect of doing it again with a mixture of anticipation and trepidation. Visions of dislocated limbs float before my eyes (dislocated my ankle during the second performance last year) and am reminded that I am becoming more decrepit as time passes. Sigh... It is also excruciatingly embarrassing to be playing a dancer and sitting on the side of the stage saying your lines for most of a 3 week tour.

Also updated my mini iPod which is now crammed full of Advanced German lessons and Charles Trenet! Boum!!! If you want to be happy, listening to Charles will do it everytime.
