Haven't written in a while. Bad things happening in life.
Today was a good day though. Spent the day with my big sis and family, generally pottering about, having a Sunday roast, strolled to the pub for an aperitif and then went to purchase all the media items I could possibly desire from PC World at Merton. It seems that the world shops online and the stores are just now giant showrooms. It was almost impossible to find anyone to help us at all. There were 3 staff operating in this massive store. Anyway, when we finally got someone to help after mooching about after them and looking pathetic he was quite helpful.
I got a good fast CPU, a 22" monitor that will double as my TV, surround sound speakers, a printer and other bits and bobs.
With all this at my disposal, I can hold my head up high in the world of fast-paced internet technology.
